InvestEU is the European Union’s flagship investment programme for 2021–2027, designed to mobilise at least €372 billion in public and private investments by leveraging a €26.2 billion EU budget guarantee.
It brings together several previous funding instruments—including the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI)—into a streamlined, three-part framework:

A matchmaking platform connecting investors and project promoters through a searchable EU-wide database.
Impact & priorities
By mid-2024, InvestEU had already unlocked approximately €218 billion in investments. The programme supports key EU priorities:

All investments adhere to the “do no significant harm” principle (as defined in the Taxonomy Regulation (EU 2020/852))
